I was born in Texhoma, Ok on 4-27-1940.  After graduation I attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where I met my future wife, Karen Nichols, of St. Joseph, Mo.  I left school my sophomore year and moved to Lander, Wy. to help my dad out of a financial problem.  While working in the oil fields in Wyoming, Karen and I were married in Riverton, Wy on 8-8-1960.

In 1962 , we moved to Page, Az where I worked as a carpenter/welder.  I worked on the Page dam (Lake Powell) until I went to work for Del Webb at Sun City, Az in 1964.  Then in May of 1966 I went to work for the Phoenix Police Dept. and retired in June 1986.

Karen and I have two sons and a daughter:  Brian, Lisa and Brad.  I now do handyman work and play golf.  On 8-1-2006 Karen and I became great grandparents .  Cohen was born to my grandson, Cody, and his wife, Jessica.  Cody is in the United States Air Force, stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I'm not real religious but God has been real good to me.
