After graduation, I went to work for United Mud
Company in Pampa before going back to work for IGA Foodliner where I had
worked during high school.
In 1959, I married Barbara Jones, and we just celebrated our 44th
anniversary. We have two
daughters: Julie who lives in Denton where she went to school and Cindy
who now lives in Amarillo after graduating from WT. We have two
grandsons: Tyson age 25 and
Noah age 5. We are expecting our third grandchild soon. We
have two great-grandchildren: Zechariah age 3 and Paige age 1.
In 1966, we moved to Dallas where I attended school and worked for
Kroger. After that I managed supermarkets in Oklahoma City, Pampa,
Perryton, and Amarillo. I then worked for Frito-Lay for 25 years and
retired this year.
We have made Clarendon our home for the past ten years and enjoy living
here as we have relatives and also a wonderful church family.
Barbara is still self-employed as a medical trans- criptionist. We
enjoy grandkids, fishing, gardening, and travel.
I have enjoyed reading all of the bios and am so very happy that so many
are serving God in so many ways. He has blessed us so very
much.
Thanks to everyone who has worked putting this reunion together. We
will enjoy seeing you there.
