My sophomore and one half of my junior years were spent at PHS.  In l957 we moved to Tulsa, OK.  Boy, oh boy, I didn’t want to go.  I wish we could have stayed in Pampa, but no such luck.  In l958, I graduated from Will Rogers High School and then went to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK.  I quit after the two years and married Len Brotherton in l960.  August l2 this year was our 43rd anniversary.

Len and I have a daughter, Carol Lynn, a son, Len Don, and a daughter-in-law, Fran.  We have three grandchildren.  Haley, our step-granddaughter, is 9, Michael 3, and Hannah is 7 mos.  Carol is a CPA with Teris L.L.C., and Don is a dentist and has his own dental clinic.  They live in El Dorado, and we are so thankful they are here.  God is so good.  Len is a chemist with Lycus, Ltd. and is still working.

We lived in Helena, AR. for l4 years.  When Carol was in the first grade, I went to work at Mohawk Rubber Co. and did secretarial work.  The Plant closed in l977.  There was a junior college a mile from our house, so I decided to go to nursing school.  I loved being an RN.  Everyday was a blessing.  You really do get back so much more than you give.  I retired about 3 years ago.

Len and I are active in our church, and the Lord has blessed us over and over.  I could write a book.  Things I like to do are taking care of our grandchildren, getting together with friends, taking part in church activities, mentoring in 2nd grade, and petting my 2 cats.  Oh yes, we have a mama raccoon with 5 babies that knock at the back door when they are hungry.  They are so cute.

Thank you Mike, Joy, and anyone who is helping with the reunion.  God Bless everyone.
